Since last few years Virgil cemetery's fall CITOs were so successful, I decided to join a state wide organized spring cleanup event. We will pick up winter pots, trim shrubs, rake leaves, pick up pine cones,and prepare buiding for painting. Gloves, rakes, pruning shears and appropriate warm/cool (check weather report) clothing are encouraged. Cemetery rules permit dogs but they must be on a leash and owners are reponsible to clean up after their pets. Be ready to see the beauty of this area in the spring and enjoy other geocachers conversation!
Attendees will earn their CITO spring souvenir, be a part of NYS Division of Cemeteries 1st annual Caring for Your Cemetery Day and enjoy a good feeling for helping to clean up this beautiful cemetery.
