Meet between 2-2:30pm at the posted coordinates, in Bloedel Donovan Park in Bellingham. At 2:30, those who wish may go for a ride on the Railroad Trail, which snakes west until it ends just west of I-5.
The 57th in a series of events along the many mostly flat, mostly paved biking/walking trails in the Seattle area. The Railroad Trail is the former site of a railroad that ran from the Bloedel Donovan Mill to Bellingham Bay. The trail is gravel and largely flat (as it used to be a railroad).
Per geocaching.com event guidelines, the actual 'event' is the meet-up from 2-2:30pm at the posted coordinates, which is near the start of the trail next to a parking lot in Bloedel Donovan Park.
This event is outdoors, but I will only cancel this event if the weather is terrible: heavy rain, lightning/thunder, snow or ice. Bring a waterproof layer if it might rain.
If you choose to ride, please show up well before 2:30 so we can leave on time. Check your brakes and air beforehand.
Participants in the optional bicycle ride hold harmless the cache owner/event organizer and assume all risks and responsibilties involved in riding a bicycle on trails and streets. Wear a helmet, dress in layers, and bring a spare tube.
