Please join us at Brandy Branch Reservoir Boat Ramp at 2:00 P.M. for the next part of the Tatum Trifecta Events.
This event is such a hoot, we decided to do it again! Like last year, teams will be building cardboard boats for a race, and one intrepid soul will be in the boat during the race.
Several folks said last year that they could have used this or wished they could have brought that. OK, this year, you can bring it, as long as it is cardboard or paper - no wooden things. Teams will have 60 minutes to design and build their boats. Oh, and we are asking everyone to bring some cardboard too. We are not likely to have enough for everyone this year.
This year, for something different, there will be a prize for the best decorated boat. You may bring decorations to add to the, but they can't be used to help float or propel your boat. Judging for this prize will be done before the boats get wet.
Teams will be chosen at random, so you may, or may not, be on the team with your traveling partner.
If you think you might want to be the pilot of your team boat, bring a towel and extra clothes & shoes.
The Brandy Branch Reservoir Public Boat Ramp is a primitive location with no ammenities.
Please bring a chair and something to drink, (and maybe a few cardboard boxes).
There are no facilities at this location - this means no drinking water, no trash cans, no rest rooms (except the nearby wooded areas).
