REALLY SideTracked - Old Schofields Station

This cache belongs to the SideTracked series. It is not designed to take you to a magical place with a breath taking view. It's a distraction for the weary traveller, but anyone else attend too. More Information can be found on the SideTracked Series website at https://www.sidetrackedseries.info
The event will be held on Saturday 27th April 2024 from 5 pm to 5.30 pm.
It will be held near the siding where the Schofields Grain Produce store once stood. It was built in the late 1930s and stored grain and feed for sale. It was served by a railway siding off the goods loop, which was removed in the 1970s when the line was electrified. The Schofields Produce Grain Shed ceased trading in 1981 and remained standing near this location until December 2010. The old Schofields station closed in 2011 when the new one was built 800 metres along the line and the line was duplicated.
