One more International / National "Something Day" Event 

Town:  Hyannis  

Location:  Town Hall green.  As the world is a stage, look for yours.    

Event Info:  Come join us to celebrate National "Talk like Skakespeare" Day.  So dusteth off thy Shakespeare collection, adapt your most familiar or favorite work of Shakespeare to retell your most fun caching adventure, event or story.  Bring some Muggles friends to see how much fun caching can be.  Remember it's not always about the D/T rating, sometimes caching is just plain fun so bring that Muggle with you and let them see how fun our caching community can be.  Your volunteer task is to recall some of your prior Geocaching adventures.  Memory is great, performance important, but reading your script is perfectly acceptable.  Of course thou must speaketh in thy language of William Shakespeare to presenteth thee tragedy or triumph.  The assembled audience shall cheer erst nay thy performance.  When thou last performer finish thy storie our assembled audience shall select thy best performance awardee.  An appropriate prize shall be awarded to the best caching thespian performers.  For those so dedicated, feel free to dress your part.  

Background Information:  National Talk Like Shakespeare Day was first launched in 2009 by the Chicago Shakespeare Theater, which was inspired by another day devoted to talking in character - International Talk Like a Pirate Day (Sound familiar yee scoundrells)  In 2011, Illinois Governor Pat Quinn proclaimed April 23rd as Talk Like Shakespeare Day giving the theater's efforts official recognition. 

Participation:  We look forward to yee the caching thespians arrival and oratory skills to tell us your "tragedy, Sonnet" or novice attempt to speak Shakespeare.  Again no requirement to actually present a story, but it is all in good fun, so please recite your Shakespearian caching adventure.
