As an early celebration of Morse Code Day, we will be meeting at Maitland Public Library for an introduction to Morse Code. Jerry Galloway (StarGazer22) will be on hand to provide a demonstration of how Morse Code works, and to briefly discuss its history and usage.
Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity to create a Morse Code inspired bead craft. All necessary supplies will be provided by the hosts.
Please include a headcount in your "Will Attend" log. This will ensure that there are enough craft stations and supplies for everyone. Failure to log a "Will Attend" may result in not being able to participate in the craft.
Parking is limited in the primary library lot. Additional parking is available across Ventris Ave. For your safety, please do not cross the railroad tracks.
The discussion and craft have been planned to interest people ages 14 and older, though all ages are welcome to attend. Craft items, such as beads, may be a choking hazard, therefore parental participation will be required for younger participants.
Maitland Public Library is located at 501 Maitland Ave South, Maitland, FL 32751. The program will begin at 7:00pm.
