Find us in the Hedge!
Parking: Suggested parking is in the car park at the provided coords, there is a footbridge to take you over to Horsbere. Or if there is space you can park by the gates leading in to the brook (alternative parking).
Where: Meet by the main gate at 0930 (alternative parking coords) or find us in the hedge.
What: We will be clearing weeds from the new hedge around the mound and mulching trees using recycled woodchip from christmas trees. The mulch will suppress weed growth and give the trees a nutrient boost.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance and gloves, but please bring a bucket or shears if you have some. Don't worry we will have spares too.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
Please make sure you bring along your own drinks and snacks for tea break - hedge love can be thirsty work!
