Let's clean up this parking lot along the Kissing Bridge Trail!
Location: Ariss Kissing Bridge Trail parking lot
Note: The terrain off the parking lot ranges from about 1.5 to 2.0 but the lot itself is a T 1.0. I'm expecting much more garbage in the areas off the lot so that's why it's a T2.0.
Bring the kids! Dogs are welcome but note that this is not designated as a leash-free area.
The purpose of this event is to help clean up the parking lot plus the naturalized areas that surround it. The parking lot here is used for access to the trail.
I will be located at the posted coordinates and will have a logbook for individuals to sign if they wish.
I will also have garbage bags and a limited supply of medium-sized gloves. If you have any kind of trash grabbing device, feel free to bring it along because I won't be providing them.
Trash will be collected and moved to the garbage bins located on site. You can either help to move it there at the end of the CITO or feel free to deposit your bag on your way out. Either option will be greatly appreciated!
This event will happen rain or shine.
Please note: motorized vehicles are permitted in the parking lot but not on the trail. Horses are not permitted at all.
