Hello,
I will be camping for 4 (four) days starting on May 5th and going to May 8th and in that time frame, I will be doing some Geo Caching, Hiking, Biking, Ham Radio ( Parks on the Air ), sight seeing and enjoying being around a nice evening fire and looking at the stars.
I thought I would make an event to see if anyone would like to join me on Monday, MAY 6th from 10:00 a.m. till say 4:00 p.m ( anyone is welcome to join when they can - just message me for current location ) Geo Caching the whole State Park trail system ( I see there is 1 virtual, 6 traditional and 5 earth caches ) and if time permits, maybe biking or driving to some in the area?
The main waypoint will take you to the large parking lot so there is no need to enter the camp ground for those not camping.
The additinal waypoint will take you to the top of that parking area toward lake Michigan for a rally point to meet at once parked.
If you care to join me hiking the state park and hopefully getting some finds and smileys, I would love to have you along.
If you just want to just stop by and not cache but say HELLO and have an event logged, please do so, I love meeting GeoCachers from all over.
According to the state parks web page, you will need a state park pass to enter the park.
These are a $25.00 annual or a $7.00 day pass
