Saturday evening event opposite Blackfriars station on the south bank - 6th April, 4pm to 5.30pm at the Doggett's Coat & Badge pub.
The Doggett's is a large pub on the banks of the River Thames - it has two gardens and a couple of floors inside. If sunny we will be found in the garden, if April showers we will be inside. Pub serves drinks and food throughout the duration of the event. Join the host and friends for an end of the day geochat and meet. Feel free to exchange Trackables.
Blackfriars south station opened in 2012 after a 500 million pound works to build the station across the River Thames as part of the Thameslink 2000 project. A new ticket hall and entrance on Bankside opened by the London Mayor on the 20th February 2012. Previously the entire station was on the north bank of the Thames. The station is the world biggest solar bridge, probably to power the lights over the darken platforms!
