A clean environment is essential for healthy living. Appleton Parks and Recreation is hosting a Cache In Trash Out (CITO) event in Appleton Parks for Earth Day! Do you love hunting for treasure, figuring out puzzles and spending time in beautiful parks? If so, then come join our Earth Day CITO event. This event will start with a Geocaching 101 presentation (located at Pierce Park (1035 W Prsopect Avenue, Appleton, WI 54914) to teach families how to look for hidden caches using a free app on their phones. After the presentation, families will help preserve the natural beauty of our parks by picking up trash while hunting for different caches in designated city parks. This is a great way to volunteer to improve our parks and spend a fun day with the family!
Registration is required if you would like to receive the 101 presentation for all participants in your household. We have a limited capacity available for the presentation, so sign up quickly to secure your spot! This event will be outside, please make sure to dress accordingly. There will be NO rain or bad weather make-up dates.
