Geocache Description:

26 April 2024, 17:00 - 19:00

Meet up for a drink and/or food at the end of a day's work/caching

The Union Tavern, King's Cross
5pm - 7.00pm

(Please note, you are more than welcome to stay longer than 19:00 but I have a train to catch at 20:03 so I'll have to slink off!)

Those of you who know me will remember that I like to hold an event if I'm ever in London overnight with work or whatever. This time it's tied in with another work-related trip to Our Nation's Capital.

On my occasional visits to London, and elsewhere, I often hold a pub event and see who turns up. I've made several friends this way in recent years and I'd love to meet you too! The pub serves food (and drinks obvs...) so we can grab a bite together and chat away about all things geocaching. No need to order food in advance. There will be an area reserved for us so look out for the odd folks sharing TBs and behaving furtively. Once I'm there, I'll post an announcement here to state exactly where we are in the pub.

There'll be a free raffle to determine FTF, drawn randomly at 18:00 ish, so don't forget to grab a ticket. (One ticket per caching team). If you've never been to an event before, it'd be great to meet you. Just say so on your Will-Attend log and we'll make sure that someone takes you under their wing. Remember, we were all newbies once! Oh, and don't forget to sign my (trackable) logbook!

Please log a 'will attend' if you intend on coming so I know how much space will need reserving. Thanks. smiley
