🌳🌳🌳 TREE CARE NEAR CLOCK TOWER PARK 🌳🌳🌳

We regularly hold tree care CITOs at Horsbere Brook Nature Reserve and Hucclecote Meadows SSSI in conjunction with the Friends of Horsbere Brook and Hucclecote Meadows and Gloucester City Council's Countryside Unit. This afternoon we will be relocating to care for some recently planted trees near Clock Tower Park.
Where: Meet up at 9:30 at the published coordinates where there is an area of young trees that we will be working around. There is some on street parking on Huckley Field adjacent to the work site (see parking coords).
What: Come and join us as we spend the morning looking after the trees by clearing weeds, checking supporting canes and protective spiral tree guards and generally giving them the best conditions to grow and thrive.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance and tools if necessary. Please bring work gloves if possible. If you wish to use your own tools (shears) please bring them along but don't worry if you don't have them as the Ranger will have spares.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by Council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
There will be a tea break with cake provided, but please bring your own hot/cold drink.
