May 17th marks 10 years since finding my first geocache with my faithful geohound Archie. What better way to celebrate than with an event to mark the occasion?! Not quite on the exact date but a Sunday afternoon was much more civilised for organising an event.
Small area reserved for people to come along and say hello. A nice friendly well provided Greene King establishment where people can have food too if they so wish. Fully accessible restaurant with children allowed. There are also outside tables but being May the temperature could be close to zero or blistering sunshine so I'll play it safe and arrange an inside area.
The very first cache that I found still exists nearby, GC2N5QK Wot no Rabbits. Who knows, maybe some new caches will appear in the area to entice others onto these paths.
