Join me in West Glover, where the the solar eclipse will be total. We are meeting at Parker Pie Company, a popular place to get pizza and more in the NEK. There is outdoor seating, where we expect to be, weather permitting. They are opening on a Monday because of this (almost) once in a lifetime opportunity.
No purchase required but if you do want to eat or drink you are responsible for your own bill.
The partial eclipse starts at 2:15 pm. The eclipse will be total in Glover from 3:27 for about 3 minutes. We will be ending the event in near darkness. It will remain a partial eclipse unti 4:37pm.
You are welcome to stay all through the event and after, or just drop by, sign the log and say hi.
Bring your trackables to trade.

When I was a kid there was a partial solar eclipse where we were living then. We made a solar eclipse viewer from a shoebox in school, for free. Search the internet, you will find the instructions. You get extra credit if you bring your own completed shoebox viewer. If you don't get protective eyewear or have an eclipse viewer, you can attend but YOU MAY NOT LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE SUN.
Bring a flashlight 🔦 if you want to walk around in the dark.
