What: Post-ApocEclipse Flash Mob
Where: Davenport Skywalk (upper south end viewing platform... take the stairs or the elevator)
When: Monday, April 8, 2024
When: 7:00pm-7:30pm (Photo at 7:15pm sharp)
After the Solar Eclipse today has finished, We thought it would be fun to get together for a quick Flash Mob photo at the upper skywalk viewing station, to create a photo simulating everyone staring up at the sun (wearing either Eclipse-safe dark glasses, or just dark sunglasses). We'll actually all keep our eyes closed so during the photo to be 100% safe, which won't be noticeable in the pictures since we'll all be wearing dark glasses!
Here is an example of the photo we want to get...
The sun doesn't set until 7:36pm that night, so we should be good there.
BRING A PAIR OF SUNGLASSES OR SPECIAL 'ECLIPSE VIEWING' GLASSES.
(Note: If, for some reason, the skywalk would be close or unavailable at 7pm [normal hours are 6am-9pm], 'plan B' would be to meet on ground level directly UNDER the skywalk.)
