Listen, even when it's not a race, it's always a race.
But it doesn't have to be for you.
Join us Saturday 6 April 2024 from 2 PM to ~6 PM to celebrate community and geocaching in the woods.
For your enjoyment and edification, we will prepare a course at the gorgeous Hoover Reservoir Park, which will test your orienteering, endurance, route planning, and container-finding skills. You will have the opportunity to frolic near a massive dam, commune with the forest, and gaze upon a grand lake, as you relish our wonderful hobby.
You have the option of choosing one of two courses:
Casual
Masters
On the casual course, you will get a taste of these types of orienteering-based endeavors while not being pressed for time. Ready for the top challenge? Join the masters course, where you will test your abilities against some other wonderful people on tougher terrain.
We will have prizes for the best finishers.
Don't want to attempt either course? No problem! This event is open to anyone who wants to mingle with like-minded people. Come to keep the event organizers company, as they wait for competitors to finish and herd cats (children).
