April 17 is National Haiku Day. For those who are unfamiliar, haiku is a form of Japanese poetry that is non-rhyming and consists of 3 lines with a syllable pattern of 5 - 7 - 5. Let's celebrate the day. I lucked out with the weather on my February event outdoors so I'm trying it again in April.
Morning event fun --
All talking geocaching
and other things too.
Join me near the shelter at Gas Works Park from 7:30 to 8:30am on April 17. Try your hand at haiku -- it's fun and can be addictive.
