On National Arbor Day, April 27th, we will be joining up with the Allegheny County Park Rangers at Deer Lakes Park to help remove invasive plants that are trying to take over. We will be gathering at Veterans 1 shelter at 8:45 AM to help the rangers out. The Park Rangers will help us identify tthe invasive plant that we will be removing and how to remove it carefully and not help it spread. This CITO will be taking place from 8:45 AM to 12:00 Noon. The park rangers will be providing all the tools that will be needed for this event. They are asking that you please wear long pants, closed toe shoes, and some water to drink.
