This event is being held to advertise Operation Superheroes, run by Geocaching Central. This is a geocaching movement where people from all around the world are being asked to hide superhero-themed geocaches and to schedule them to be published on Superheros Day, April 28 at 8am (no matter what timezone you are in). Other people are hosting superhero-themed events in the lead-up to April 28 and on the day itself (which is what I have decided to do). My contribution to Operation Superheros is a Spider-Man themed event! Specifically, Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man (the best Spider-Man). For anyone who seen the Spider-Man trilogy by Sam Raimi, you'll remember Peter Parker's famous "Pizza Time" line drop whilst delivering Joe's Pizza.
This event will be at Rose Cottage from 12-1pm.You are not required to buy food or drink but the event will be held around lunchtime where there are pizzas available. At 12:30pm, I will run a raffle and the winner will claim FTF honours and an extra prize.
I encourage everyone to wear superhero-themed clothes to this event. Not necessarily costumes, but just t-shirts or caps and stuff that have pictures or logos of superheroes on them. As for me, I'll be choosing between my Black Panther t-shirt or one of my Guardians of the Galaxy t-shirts!
Please provide your will attends with the number of people in your team (e.g. @1, @2) so that I can make a fairly accurate booking at the venue closer to the time. More details will come later about where abouts within the venue that the event will be held. See you all there!
