We will be teaming up with Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center (NBSTCC) for their monthly Trash Bash. The Trash Bash is a citizen-science program for community members of all ages held the last Saturday of every month from 8:00 - 10:00 am.
We will gather outside the Sand Crab Pavilion from 7:30 - 8:00 am to sign in for the CITO event. After signing in for the CITO, you will need to sign in with NBSTCC for the Trash Bash. After a brief orientation, we will disperse to pick up trash along the beach, parking lots and roadways. Volunteers are asked to return to the pavilion by 9:45 am to weigh the trash and take pictures (optional). Feel free to leave before then if you cannot stay the entire time - just be sure to check out with NBSTCC before you leave.
NBSTCC will have a limited supply of gloves, buckets and pickers. Feel free to bring your own.
