Rock outcropping out in the desert. Pretty cool geological things going on here. But, it looks like everyone that has been here has left a bunch of trash. If it gets much worse someone is going to pull the plug and no one will be able to come out here.
The only way to get here is to take Hwy 86 (Ajo Hwy) west to S Sierrita Mt. Rd. Head south on S Sierrita Mr. Rd. 6.5miles to Goldwater Rad. Left then east on Goldwater Rd. 1.77 miles. The road makes a bit of a dogleg to the north. Follow that dogleg 1.75 miles to where it hooks back up to Goldwater. Continue east of Goldwater .75 miles to GZ. Goldwater is a sand/gravel road/trail. A 4x4 of some sort is recommended.
we will have to haul the trash out that we pick up. No dumpsters in the area. I will have my pickup there.
