Geocache Description:

28 March 2024, 19:00 - 19:30

Since we are in Lisbon on Maundy Thursday this year, I invite you to a traditional kebab day event. It will be very informal. According to the rules, no one is obliged to eat kebab if they want to sign the logbook.

The logbook is at least

from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m

out of. Funny conversations about geocaching are guaranteed. If you like, you are welcome to bring TBs with you to discover and exchange. I'll even provide a can for it.

Story:
The first kebab day took place on April 5, 2007, the central event was kebab's day 2007 by "moenk" at a kebab snack bar in Berlin. This was intended to honor the place where the kebab is rumored to have originated. The aim was to set up a Germany-wide “decentralized MEGA event”, which was not approved by geocaching.com. Many events were organized at the same time, for example in Austria, South Tyrol and Mallorca. These events were also held in the following years and are organized via a page in the Green Forum as long as they concern Germany. In 2017, the event was honored by Groundspeak Inc. with a visit from Signal the frog. (Source: cachewiki.de)
