Ein netter Treff von Geocacher mit anschließender kurzer Wanderung zum unterhalten und geocachen.
An den Listing-Koordinaten des Events liegt der Geocache „CCC - Cyprus Confluence Cache“ (GC9H7Y0). Dieser markiert den Konfluenzpunkt N 35° E 034°.
Hier treffen wir uns am 15. Mai 2024 um 16:00 Uhr und können schon mal den Geocache loggen.
Nachdem wir uns begrüßt und den Geocache geloggt haben unterhalten wir uns eine halbe Stunde während der Pflichtzeit eines Events. Das muss leider sein, da es die Regeln von Groundspeak für einen Event so vorschreiben.

Wir wandern wir gemeinsam in Richtung Hafen von Ayia Napa. Dabei nehmen wir den Tradi-Geocache „Bell's Place“ (GC2RHZX) und den Virtuell-Geocache „Ayia Napa Monastery“ (GC88YZB) mit.
Letzterer zeigt uns ein kaum noch bekanntes Kloster auf Zypern.
Angekommen am Kloster Ayia Napa bei N 34° 59.351 E 033° 59.997 um 16:45 Uhr begrüßen wir die Geocacher, die hier auf die Event-Teilnehmer treffen.
Es ist jederzeit möglich auf dem Weg zuzustoßen oder direkt zum Kloster zu kommen. Ein Hinweis dazu in eurem „Will attend“ wäre hilfreich.
Nachdem wir uns begrüßt haben gehen wir in das Hard Rock Café Ayia Napa (ca. bei N 34° 59.355 E 034° 00.019) auf einen kleinen Umtrunk und lassen den Tag gemütlich ausklingen.

A nice meeting of geocachers followed by a short hike to chat and geocach.
The geocache “CCC - Cyprus Confluence Cache” (GC9H7Y0) is located at the listing coordinates of the event. This marks the confluence point N 35° E 034°.
We will meet here on May 15, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. and can log the geocache.
After greeting each other and logging the geocache, we chat for half an hour during the mandatory time of an event. Unfortunately, this has to be the case, as the Groundspeak rules require it for an event.
Afterwards, after the event is over, things really get started:…
We walk together towards the port of Ayia Napa. We take the traditional geocache “Bell's Place” (GC2RHZX) and the virtual geocache “Ayia Napa Monastery” (GC88YZB) with us.
The latter shows us a little-known monastery in Cyprus.
Arrived at the Ayia Napa Monastery at N 34° 59.351 E 033° 59.997 at 4:45 p.m. we welcome the geocachers who meet the event participants here.
It is possible at any time to come across on the way or come directly to the monastery.
A note about this in your “Will attend” would be helpful.
After greeting each other we go into the Hard Rock Café Ayia Napa (approx. at N 34° 59.355 E 034° 00.019) for a little drink and let the day end comfortably.
