SLAGA Spring Picnic 2024

This year's Spring Picnic will be hosted by mathmanbill at Willoughby Farm in Collinsville, IL.

I have posted two parking lot locations: the main lot and an elementary school parking lot just down the road.  

DETAILS:  

SLAGA will be supplying hamburgers, brats, and hotdogs (let us know how many of each you want in your "Will Attend"), along with plates, napkins and utensils. We ask that you bring a side dish or other food to share and your drinks. The prices will be as follows:

• SLAGA Premium Member Adults $5.00

• Non-Premium Member Adults $7.00

• Kids 5-12 $3.00

• Kids 4 and under  - free

MILESTONES:

We will be making our Spring Milestone awards to all those SLAGA premium members, so let us know your achievements for your award of 100, 500, 1,000, 5,000, 10,000 or 25,000 finds.   To Submit your Milestone, log into the SLAGA web site, and under the User Menu, select Milestone Submission on the drop down box. Fill out the form and submit.

Please post your "Will Attend" log as soon as you can with the number of people attending, your meat choice(s), how many of each you'd like, and what dish you will be bringing to share with everyone. 

We will be having a 50-50 drawing (you must be present to win), Silent Auction, Travel Bug Table, a scavenger hunt around the farm, and a new game that will test your speed and dexterity!
 

SILENT AUCTION ITEMS:

If you have any items you would like to donate to the silent auction, please include that information in your "Will Attend" note!

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

• 1:00 p.m. - Set up.

• 1:30 p.m. - Registration begins.

• 2:30 p.m.  - General announcements and business plus Milestone Awards

• 3:00 p.m. - Group Photo followed by Silent Auction & 50-50 winners, all game winners, and Premium Membership drawing.

• After the above 3:00 p.m. items have been addressed, then it is DINNER TIME!!!

• 5:00 p.m. - Teardown and clean-up.
