Geocache Description:

22 June 2024, 09:00 - 12:00

Load up your GPS/Smart Phone, camping gear, and your TOTTs (you will need them), and invite your family and friends to join you and the North Dakota GeoCaching Association members for the 14th Annual Camping & Caching Event. The location for the annual event this year is Jamestown, North Dakota, aka The Buffalo City. Come for the day or spend the weekend camping or staying in a hotel if prefer a real roof over your head. While in the area, spend time finding geocaches and/or exploring the shops, museums, and historic locations. There is also great fishing on the two reserviors in the area for the muggles that may be tagging along. This is a fun filled weekend you don’t want to miss!

Tentative Schedule (Subject to change)

  • 9:00am-12:00pm (noon) Welcome, Activities, & Information
  • Afternoon actives TBA

The Friday evening Meet and Greet along with the Saturday Camping and Caching Event will be held at the Jamestown Rural Fire Department which is located at the published coordinates or 1209 9th St SE, Jamestown, ND 58401.

No pets/dogs are allowed in the fire hall.

The online order site for T-Shirts will be open in April or May with a deadline to order sometime in June.
You will need to pay with a credit card and either select shipping (extra charge) or have the event host pick them up and deliver them at the event.

We will continue to update event information leading up to the event on the this cache page and the NDGCA website and Facebook group.
