Cake up a hill: Great Mis Tor Event Cache

I like cake. And I like hills. So why not combine the two?

The third in what may become a semi-regular series of events, assuming I can find sufficient round tuits. Essentially, the idea is to meet up on a hill and eat cake. So, by way of a cunning plan - meet up at the top of Great Mis Tor at twelve-thirty on the Saturday of the clock change weekend. I'll bring some form of cake, and if anyone else wants to bring cake to share then please do! Other than that, bring a flask of tea or coffee, and any small trackables you want rid of.

I'll be the one in the ridiculous hat, lurking on whichever side of the summit outcrop is least windy on the day. Come and say hello!

Safety Bit: The weather on Dartmoor can change for the worse surprisingly quickly. Warm clothes, waterproofs and sensible boots are a good idea, likewise a map and compass and the skills to use them in the event of a sudden GPS malfunction.

Although this event is outside the boundary of Merrivale Range, it is relatively close to it. Therefore, please note the following:

All of the caches on the North Moor are located in or near to one of the Military Ranges where live firing occurs. You must check out the Firing Notices before entering any of the ranges. DO NOT ENTER THE RANGE WHEN THE RED FLAGS ARE FLYING. Never pick up any objects, they may be unexploded devices.
