In observance of Earth Day 2024,
I have volunteered the PTO at
GetInTheCarson's elementary school,
Elms Rd/Morrish PTO
to partner with
"Neighborhood Trees"
to provide free tree saplings to school age children.
As the Site Coordinator, I'd like to invite
the geocaching community
to also participate in our observance of Earth Day 2024.
This CITO event will be held at the same time as
the tree sapling distribution for the district.
We will be picking up the school grounds,
including around the building, playground
& ball fields spectator areas.
I have gotten approval from the Principal to reserve the
Peyton's Place Pavillion on Elms Road Elementary
campus for the event located at
3259 Elms Rd, Swartz Creek, MI 48473
Trash bags, water, snacks and a limited number
of grabbers and gloves will be provided.
Please feel free to bring your own if you have them.
If you are bringing a school aged child with you
and would like for them to also receive
a free tree sapling, you may fill out the registration
form at the following link before March 15th.
Please put "CITO" in the field asking for teacher name.
