Geocache Description:

13 April 2024, 10:00 - 12:00

Come serve the community and be rewarded with the Cache In Trash Out® Season 1 Souvenir!

The posted coordinates are for parking before heading out along GEOregon's 1.2 miles stretch of the Clackamas County Adopt-A-Road program. Be sure to wear your hiking boots!

The county will supply all the CITO supplies: high visibility vests, grabbers, warning signs, and trash bags. All we need to supply is willing geocachers and gloves.

We will meet at 10 AM where we'll sign the event's logbook, have some brief socalizing time, make sure waivers are signed (If you've done it before, you should not be required to fill out another form), and do a short safety talk. Then we'll take a group photo and head out down the road.

After the event, feel free to stop on by the Happy Valley Station food carts for Chalupa_Dad's Anybody Hungry? (Post-CITO Celebration).

Rules for the Event:

  1. Litter pickup is limited to the edge of the traveled portion of the road and the outer shoulder. Median strips and the traveled portion of the road are not included.
  2. Full trash bags will be left by the side of the road for pickup by the county.
  3. A safety orientation will be conducted prior to starting the CITO.
  4. All participants must sign a county liability release form.
  5. All participants must be 12 years of age or older (per Clackamas County rules)
  6. Everyone is welcome! No need to be a GEOregon member to participate :)
