The Montour Trail is a near and dear trail to my heart. I heard on Facebook, on our local geocaching page, that this section of trail needs some serious love. The running joke for my monthly Montour Trail Cleanup series is that I usually find the cleanest sections of trails to hold our monthly cleanups on. I heard that there is a bunch of garbage in this corridor. To help improve this section of the trail, I would like to gather a bunch of cachers to come out and give a helping hand. The day for this CITO will be on Wednesday, April 17th, and we will meet at 5:30 PM with the CITO wrapping up at 7:00 PM. We will meet at the parking coordinates and make our way across the street, where we will pick up the trail. Depending on how many people come out and help, we can split up into two groups and work our way in opposite directions to clean up the garbage in this area. We will do our best to get as much of the garbage removed. I will bring garbage bags and gloves for this cleanup. Please wear closed toe shoes and appropriate clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. By attending this CITO, you will receive your 2024 Season 1 CITO Souvenir.
