Join us for a 1/2 hour or longer of geochat and tell us about some your upcoming plans this summer. Ours includes a week of cachng in the U.P. this May in our new travel trailer.

No purchase of food or drink is required just your backside to sit in a chair while we swap caching stories which I find are alot like like fishing stories. Each time that caching story is told, the cache gets  harder to find or deeper into woods or that river moving a little faster.

An idea came to me after doing BgScrabbles cache Traveling to Events challenge Why not do an event in every Michigan county. After we got started we decided to attend/host an event in every county. This will give you 12 counties in the U.P. if you are trying to get an event in every county. Syfun (Steve) will be having 2 events also in different counties to help him fill his grid.

Along with Traveling to Events challenge there are two other challenges to help you keep track. Mine is, yes I stole Jeffs cache name :^), Challenge Traveling Even Further for Events.  And the one I like best because it gives you a map is MaxB’s Events in Adjacent Counties Challenge. Thanks to Simon who shared this one at an event we attended and MaxB for challenge and map.

This is also a good time to work your MIGO county challenge cache as the event would count for one cache. We tried to have the events where there are geocaches placed. The events are in different counties with plenty of time to cache in between. So show up when you want and stay as long as you like. I am keeping the events listed here in order of date to help you plan your trip if you decide to join us.
