Let's help out the parks by holding a spring clean up event. We will start at the Old Erie Canal parking area and walk two miles east toward Green Lakes State Park picking up trash along the way. You don't have to walk the entire way, but I hope to have a car to shuttle people back to the start if they choose to just walk one way. Although the trail is about a 1-1.5 terrain, there are steep drop off on both sides so I'm uping the terrain to equate with what we will actually be doing. (It could be higher terrain if it's raining and the hills are slick, so only go down as far as you feel comfortable.) Children are welcome, but should be under their parents' observation. Please don't let them go down the steeper slopes near the water! I will bring bags, but please bring your own gloves and trash grabbers.
