We have reserved the shelter at
Kendrick Lake Park in Lakewood Colorado.
Who?: Cachers & non-caching family members including kids.
The shelter reserved from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, the actual event is from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Come early or come late, just come and have a good time.
11:00 am-ish to 12:00 pm-ish, Gather & Meet-N-Greet
12:00 pm-ish to 12:30 pm-ish, Fire up the Grill
12:30 pm-ish to1:00 pm-ish, Food Time!
1:00 pm-ish to 2:00 pm-ish or until decide to go, Continue the Geo-Stories
Who knows we might stay around all afternoon!!!
We will provide Hotdogs & Buns
(or if you prefer something else you can bring something to grill).
We will also provide paper plates, utensils and cups. Since it would be hard to predict everyone's favorite drink We will provide some water. If you want something else to drink then you should BYOD (Bring Your Own Drink)
When you post your attendance, indicate how many in your group will be attending, and how many Hotdogs your group might eat. Any other information that you think might relative to your attendance.
Cachers attending the event are asked to bring some side dishes.
Possible sides could include chips/dips. watermelon/fruit, potato/macroni salad, slaw, cookies/cake, etc...
Indicate in your attendance log what you might bring.
So we don't end up with ALL one item type.
FYI - There is No Electrial Outlets available
Kendrick Lake Park shelter is located near the east end of the lake on the south side of the park near the playground and has six tables and two grills and accommodates up to 60 people.
Other thing you might bring, Folding Tables for the Food, Lawn Chairs for extra seating, Yard Games.
