Please join us for our CITO event on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. for our GEOCKY CITO along our Adopt-A-Highway designated route on Leestown Road.
We are required to hold several events during the year in order to keep our GEOCKY oganization Adopt-A-Highway signs up on both ends of our designated clean up route on Leestown Road in Lexington.
You can also earn a CITO 2024 souvenir for Season 1 by attending or hosting a CITO from March 1 through May 31, 2024.
Cache In Trash Out® (CITO) is an ongoing environmental initiative supported by the worldwide geocaching community. Since 2002, geocachers around the world have been dedicated to improving parks and other cache-friendly places.
We will park and meet at 9:00 a.m. at the given coordinates, located just inside Masterson Station Park. After a safety briefing we will split into teams and begin the task of picking up litter along Leestown Road.
Be sure to bring your own gloves and dress accordingly for the weather. Bottled water, snacks safety vests and trash bags will be provided. If you cannot make it there by 9:00 a.m. feel free to join us and pitch in as soon as you can.
Please try to arrive a bit early in case there is a delay getting into the park due to possible scheduled events.
