Let's meet at the posted coordinates at the kayak launch. We will stage a couple vehicles downriver at sometime during the event to W Sharon rd Launch. Even if you don't plan to head down the river, please show up to see us off. I hope to launch at 10:00 or when all vehicles are staged and kayakers have returned. If you arrive after 9:45am, we will get you back to your car after the float.
A recreation passport is needed for parking at all locations.
Float time is about 4 hours. With caching it may take longer.
29 NEW Reverse Wherigo caches in the shape of a kayak paddle will be published the evening before the event. This will allow you time to solve, and to get them on your gps or offline list on your phone. Cell phone signal is spotty in the area, so be prepared.
We are launching from the Sharon Rd boat Launch. There is a State Forest Campground upstream at the CCC Bridge if you would like to camp for the two events this weekend.
