Weeding buttercup plants from restored areas
Bring water, gardening gloves, and tools (clippers, loppers, shovels)
Saanich will supply some gloves and tools
Please bring something to kneel on. (A plastic bag with a few old newspapers stuffed inside will help your back and knees from getting sore) A weed-prying tool will help with loosening the soil and getting the roots out.
Bring a shovel if you feel like digging.
Parking for a few vehicles on Elk and Goward Roads
Dress for the weather
Scruffy clothing and sturdy footwear
And a big smile for helping Mother Earth!
