Geocache Description:

Ruins at Can Chanh Palace

Your guidebook probably says that this site was destroyed by Americans during the Vietnam-American War. Originally, there was a plaque here that indicated that the site was destroyed earlier. Now that the plaque has been removed, find the top name on the wall at the given coordinates. It should appear just above "TAY NIM".

TuuronTour noted that an entrance fee of 50.000 Dong was required when he visited in October 2007. The price seems to be 105.000 Dong as of July 2013. As of July 2022, the adult price is 200.000 Dong and the child price is 40.000 Dong. I encourage you to note in your log whether a fee applied during your visit. As of July 2022, Father Monk was able to provide a new verification for this cache after the plaque disappeared.

NOTE: This is NOT an armchair virtual cache. You are EXPECTED to visit the site PERSONALLY to obtain the information requested. Please do NOT just send a photo. You are expected to make your best effort to send me a text version of what you find. Please email or message your answer to the cache owner BEFORE logging this cache as Found. Failure to follow this requirement can result in your log being deleted without any notice.
