Beautiful mountain terrain. Sits about 9350 ft. in the Uintah Mountains. 99.9% driving.
All sorts of fun stuff in this cache. This drive along Red Cloud Loop is spectacular. But, don't let this easy difficulty rating fool you. Depending on the direction you approach this from, the time of the year, and even foul weather can turn this easy, scenic drive into a monster. Difficulty level 4 kind of stuff. This is mountainous back-country after all. Late summer months would be the best time to go. 4-wheel-drive, tire chains, and an axe or saw are recommended if the weather/season is wet or cold. Be prepared.
