Geocache Description:

IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE SOLVING ANY OF THESE PUZZLES, PLEASE CONTACT ME FOR HELP!

This cache is part of a new Geoart series of mystery caches located along the Beach Lake Trails. The cache is not at the listed location. You will need to solve a fairly simple puzzle to get the actual coordinates for the cache. To solve this puzzle, you need to find the coordinates of a famous fly-fishing river that are hidden somewhere on this page. Enter these coordinates in Google Maps or similar map program and look for the name of the river. You will then enter the name of the river, and the full name (no abbreviations) of the state in which it is located into Puzzle-Checker. If the river is not located in the US, enter the country instead of the state. For example, if the river is the Susitna River, your answer is SusitnaRiverAlaska (No Spaces). Submit this answer to Puzzle-Checker, and you will receive the actual coordinates for the cache.

This world-famous river starts in the Cascade Mountains, not far from Crater Lake. This is the river where I first started fly-fishing although not with an actual fly rod. I was 14 months old and my family was camping in a small campground along the very upper part of this river. My dad was on the other side of the river. When my dad looked back across the river, he saw me standing there with a stick in my hand trying to imitate him casting. He decided that it was time to get me a fly-rod. So, at 14 months of age, I received my first fly rod. One of the pictures in the gallery is of me and my dad at the place I started fishing. A few months later I caught my first trout when I was 2 and caught my first steelhead when I was 5.

Several years ago, I needed to take the recertification exam for my Emergency Medicine Boards. I was spending the night with a friend of my father's who lived in Grants Pass. My plan was to study that afternoon and night. When I arrived at his house, he convinced me that it would be better if I went out fishing with him than to stay home and study since I had been studying for weeks already. He was right, I had a wonderful time fishing with him on this beautiful river and received a 93% on my exam. Sometimes you just need to get outdoors and clear your head.
