Holy Trinity Church was built in 1845 at much the same time as the village school. It is well maintained and is in good condition. Recent restoration work was funded by the generous donations of residents, many of whom, although not regular churchgoers, felt strongly that the Church is a focal point of the village and important to the community.
To find the Cache you will need to visit the church and answer the following:
1. After entering through the lychgate into the churchyard look for a lantern set into a stone the bottom date on the stone = 1ABC.
2. Walk up to the church door and follow the path around to the left. Low down on the church wall how many black metal air vents are there (only count on section of wall behind the grave of Christina Marie Preston's Grave) = D.
3. Look for a sign on the church wall marked Earth Point. Dawson Steeplejacks phone number =01CE1 4F2220.
4. Continue to walk around the church to the other entrance onto the road.Look back at the church and count how many large windows are on the north facing side of the church =G
Total for A+B+C+D+E+F+G = 42
The final co-ordinates for the cache are:
