Hasičský záchranný sbor České republiky je bezpečností sbor České republiky, jehož základním úkolem je chránit životy a zdraví obyvatel, životní prostředí, zvířata a majetek před požáry a jinými mimořádnými událostmi a krizovými situacemi. Vznikl 1. ledna 1995 ze Sboru požární ochrany. K 1. lednu 2001 byla o Hasičském záchranném sboru České republiky a o změně některých zákonů, provedena reorganizace HZS ČR do současné podoby. Činnost HZS ČR se řídí o Hasičském záchranném sboru České republiky a o změně některých zákonů, ve znění pozdějších předpisů.
Hasiči jsou ve služebním poměru, který upravuje služební poměr příslušníků bezpečnostních sborů.

1929 - městská rada udělila sboru právo používat městský znak na všech listinách sboru
9.8.1931 - velký požár na hradě Buchlov, excelentní zásah hradištškého sboru
5.5.1934 - velitelem sboru zvolen Vincenc Raštica, sbor má 34 členů
24.7.1934 - snížení počtu členů na 20 (důvodem totální nasazení v Říši)
1938 - v důsledku válečných událostí zřízen samaritský odbor, trval až do roku 1947
březen 1941 - pokladníkem sboru zvolen Jan Jančař
1942 - nový krytý požární vůz Mercedes, technika převzata nařízením městu, založen pěvecký kroužek (60 členný)
15.9.1946 - sbor čítá 41 členů, starostou J. Stancl, náměstkem Ant. Keller, velitelem V. Raštica, jednatelem R. Vaněk, zbrojířem Alois Vlček, strojmistrem J. Kostka, matrikářem Fr. Skýba

Das Feuerrettungskorps der Tschechischen Republik ist das Sicherheitskorps der Tschechischen Republik, dessen Hauptaufgabe darin besteht, das Leben und die Gesundheit der Bewohner, der Umwelt, der Tiere und des Eigentums vor Bränden und anderen außergewöhnlichen Ereignissen und Krisensituationen zu schützen. Es entstand am 1. Januar 1995 aus dem Brandschutzkorps. Am 1. Straż Pożarna Republiki Czeskiej jest służbą bezpieczeństwa Republiki Czeskiej, której podstawowym zadaniem jest ochrona życia i zdrowia mieszkańców, środowiska, zwierząt i mienia przed pożarami oraz innymi nadzwyczajnymi zdarzeniami i sytuacjami kryzysowymi. Powstał 1 stycznia 1995 roku z Korpusu Ochrony Przeciwpożarowej. W dniu 1 stycznia 2001 r.
