On Thursday 10th August 2023 between 19:00 and 22:00 you are given the chance to meet-up inside the new Helsby Tap to celebrate SideTracked Day 2023.
Helsby Station is over 150 years old having opened on 1st July l863.
It is the junction between two railway lines, the Chester to Manchester line and a line to Ellesmere Port and Liverpool.
We are meeting in the new Tap Room which is located a short walk up Station Avenue from Helsby Station.
There will be a chance to have a chat with like-minded cachers, swap travel bugs and have a drink to celebrate the 16th anniversary of this great series, although that is not compulsory.
For those who want to get to the event by train, Helsby is located on the main Manchester to Chester route operated by Transport for Wales and Northern Rail.
An area has been reserved for us on the evening.
The new Tap Room even has up to date train running information displayed so you don’t need to rush your drink to catch your train!
