Located in Calgary, this cache will provide a pretty decent view. Your initial objective is to find an Alberta Environment Survey Marker, identify the numbers on it, and then move on to the cache. Photos are welcome, as long as they are not total spoilers. Sunset shots could be great.
Locate the marker and find or calculate the values for the following. Don’t go over the edge for the marker.
A = number on the top left
B = number on the top right
C = number on the bottom right
D = (B – A)
E = (C – D)
F = (B – C)
G = (E – D)
Substitute your answers into the following formula to calculate the coordinates for the final cache. I suppose you math whizzes out there probably don’t even have to visit the marker to solve this. Now’s the time to go over the edge, or you can go around and climb up.
Final cache:
North ED° 0D.DAE
West DDG° 00.FCC
The cache itself if a peanut butter jar, the contents of which are:
Cachenote, logbook, pencils, sharpener
Jewelers screwdrivers
Mini screwdriver
$50.00 magnet

Happy hunting
