Geocaching Summer Picnic
Owensboro first attracted Geocachers in the summer of 2020 with the kick-off of a GeoTour, then again in 2021 with MOGA Mega Event, and yet again in 2023 with GeoWoodstock.
The city, county, and region have fallen in love with the Geocaching community and have come together to invite every back again in 2024 for a Geocaching Summer Picnic!
Event Registration
Registration and swag bundles will eventually be available, with pick-up will be available starting on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024.

This event is designed to be free-flowing to meet other Geocachers, visit vendors, and enjoy Geo-activities!

Room blocks arranged through Visit Owensboro will be available on the website.
The Planning of a Safe Event
This Geocaching Summer Picnic is a mostly outdoor event. The venue is rated to handle 25,000+ people, so social distancing is not a problem. All health and safety guidelines will be followed.
