Elevation 6405 feet. Spectacular views of Monument Valley and Goosenecks of the San Juan River. If you come here from the Valley of the Gods down below, I hope you enjoy the drive.

I placed this cache on 5/26/01, but it was removed by a BLM ranger from the Monticello BLM office. I have been informed that this problem is resolved, and as long as caches are placed in low-impact areas (not ruins, cryptobiotic soil, etc,) they won't be picked up. The policy is still being written, but for now it is OK. I replaced this cache with just a logbook and a carabiner, in the original spot. All my containers were too small for the logbook, so if someone who visits could donate a containerm that would be terrific.
