Geocache Description:

This is my second-Richard & Annette Bloch Cancer Survivors park.The first one I found is in Dallas and I was suprised to run across this one.

The Cancer Survivors Plaza(park)was completed in August of 1995,it is Located on the Loyola Ave.neutral ground at Poydras st.The Plaza Designed by Miloslave Cekic of Austin,Texas,features a walkway formed by Fourteen 25-ft. colums which represent different world cultures, emphasizing the universal fight against cancer.

To claim this cache:you must find the column that is straight arcoss the the walkway from the New Orleans column e-mail me what world culture it represents and describe to me the shape of the East Fountain.

ANY logs without e-mails will be DELETED.

"Cancer. . .there's hope" is the last work of the world renowned sculptor, Victor Salmones. He claimed it to be his finest, a labor of love. The back five figures are cancer patients and their supporters preparing to enter treatment, which is represented by the maze.
