Tri-Cities 2023 Geocoin Challenge
Tales of the Tri-Cities
- Complete all 4 Adventure Labs and find 4 event geocaches in each city (16 out of 20 traditional geocaches).
- Return completed passport: John Dam Plaza: ~ Sat, June 24, 3-7pm & Sun, June 25, 9am-12pm
- After Sunday, June 25 @ 2 pm, return the completed passport to Richland Parks & Recreation
- Richland Parks & Rec: N46 16.369 W119 16.273 ~ Mon-Fri 8am-9pm, Sat 9am-8pm, Sun 12-4pm
- Cache questions: call 509.578.9332
- Passport must be in one piece, not torn or mutilated.
- Coins available while supplies last.
- Passports available at John Dam Plaza on Saturday, June 24, after 9:30am.
EVENT GEOCOIN CHALLENGE PASSPORT (Link goes live: 6/24 – 11am)
Kid Challenge
- Find 10 out of the 20 event geocaches throughout the Tri-Cities.
- All the geocaches have 3D rubs.
- Complete the Kid’s Passport.
KIDS GEOCOIN CHALLENGE PASSPORT (Link goes live: 6/24 – 11am)
Free, Family-Friendly event for new and experienced geocachers. Spend a day geocaching around the Tri-Cities. Those who complete the challenge will receive a free Tri-Cities Geocoin. Kids/Teens (17 and under) who complete the kid's passport will receive a trackable version of the event coin.
The Challenge will Consist of the Following:
Adult Challenge ~ Combination of Adventure Labs and Regular Geocaches (Adult Passport) - Paper size 8.5x14
Kid/Teen Challenge ~ 8 Regular Geocaches (Kid Passport) - Paper size 8.5x11
Adult and Kid/Teen Passport will be available on Saturday, June 24, at John Dam Plaza (9:30am)
Passports will be available on this event page by 11:00am.
You must download the Geocaching Adventure Lab App onto your smartphone/device.

9:30am - Adventure Labs/Geocaches - Go Live
3:00-7:00pm - Coin Pickup (Please don't arrive before 3pm to pick up your coin. Instead, find more geocaches or complete other local Adventure Labs.)
3:00-7:00pm - Dinner (Food Trucks: Gourmet Doggie Style & Tumbleweeds)
6:30pm - Prizes (Must be present to win)
As usual, only one (1) geocoin per household.
Coins are available while supplies last. Coins are not guaranteed after the Mega Event Weekend.
