The trail network on the east bench is the next area to develop in our valley's progression. Rollercoaster trail that ties in here has long been the heart of the trails on this side of the valley. It heavily favors mountain bikers with the downhill style berms and jumps, but the uphill access trail parallel and to the south is suitable for hikers too. Dog walkers and even strollers make their way here, though it is gnarly terrain for the strollers.
This is not a mountain biking geocaching event but if you want to bring your bike for before or after the event, bring your headlamp.
During the 30 minutes or so we'll be here, expect to see some kids flying down the end of the trail uphill of where we'll be, possibly catching some air off of the last jump. It is quite a sight to behold to see in the flesh.
