Much to do about cutting
CITO 2022, Season 2
Attend a CITO from 1st September through to 30th November to grab a season 2 souvenir.
Parking: Suggested parking is in the car park at the provided coords, there is a footbridge to take you over to Horsbere. Or if there is space you can park by the gates leading in to the brook (alternative parking).
Where: Meet by the main gate at 0930 (alternative parking coords) or find us in the long meadow (published coords) just look for the flag. Please note you will need to access the balancing pond via the waypointed kissing gate if coming from the track.
What: We will be trimming those path edges.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance and tools if necessary. Drop by if you have any time to spare and don't worry about not knowing what to do - none of us do, but the ranger will set us straight!
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
We ask you to bring your own gloves and where appropriate tools, so if you have shears or loppers that would be great. Don't worry if you don't have them as the ranger will have a supply.
Please make sure you bring along your own refreshments as it can be thirsty work!
