Geocache Description:

Welcome to Marion County West Virginia, the middle of everywhere! The 'Murals of Marion County' geocaching trail is designed to showcase the history and heritage of the area in a unique and exciting way. Nine Letterbox Hybrid geocaches will be placed around the county for you to discover; each showcases a specific mural and then provides instructions on locating the final. After completing all nine geocaches on the tour and exploring everything Marion County has to offer, stop by our visitor center (GC9CY1G) to claim a FREE custom coin, trackable at geocaching.com! More information including a full list of caches and the playing card is available here: https://marioncvb.com/murals.

MMC #6: The Walk to Yann's

Russel Yann is a legend in Marion County, best known for his famous hot dogs. These iconic dogs were layered with anything you wanted, as long as that didn't include ketchup. Yann didn't put ketchup on his hotdogs and as we are sure you'll see by this mural, everyone knew this. Unfortunately, Yann has recently passed away, but his legacy lives on here at the posted coordinates.

SOLVE THE PUZZLE

Using the mural, please answer the following questions to obtain the three-digit lock combination (XYZ) for the final container.

X = How many bottles are present on the crosswalk?

YZ = The bottles are modeled after a famous brand, what number would be on the labels?

FIND THE CACHE

After answering the above questions, use the instructions below to locate the final container.

After obtaining the information at the posted coordinates, proceed to the parking coordinates (waypoint) and look for a small set of stairs. The prize you seek is located at the top of those stairs, on the left side of the steps. There is no need to go beyond the top of the stairs.
